OXOM MCP

Set up the OXOM MCP

Connect Claude to your workspace. It takes about two minutes.

The OXOM MCP is at an early stage and functions may still change. AI can make mistakes, so double-check anything important.

With the OXOM MCP, Claude works directly inside your workspace: create short links, find files in Drive, create docs or check your free time. All you need is a custom connector in Claude.

Set up in Claude.ai

  1. 1

    Add a connector

Open Claude.ai on your computer and go to the connector directory, or Settings → Connectors. Click + Add custom connector.

  2. 2

    Enter name and URL

    Name

    OXOM

    Remote MCP server URL

    https://mcp.oxom.de/mcp
  3. 3

    Configure sign-in

Under Authentication choose Always required, and under OAuth client choose Use your own OAuth client, even if Claude suggests otherwise. Without these two settings, sign-in fails in the next step.

    OAuth client ID

    oxom-claude

Leave OAuth client secret empty. That's intended. Then click Add.

The add custom connector dialog in Claude with Always required and Use your own OAuth client selected
  4. 4

    Connect to Claude

Click Connect. You'll land on app.oxom.de to grant access. If you're in several workspaces, you can select all of them.

    Granting access on app.oxom.de
  5. 5

    Done

Just ask Claude, for example: “Show me my latest short links.” Everything Claude can do is listed under Functions.

Connection not working?

  • The URL must be exactly https://mcp.oxom.de/mcp, no spaces and no www..
  • Authentication must be set to Always required. The default setting makes the connection fail.
  • The client ID is oxom-claude, and the secret stays empty.
  • If the redirect to app.oxom.de fails, remove the connector and add it again.

Other apps

The OXOM MCP uses the open standard (OAuth 2.0 with PKCE). It's tested with Claude. A guide for ChatGPT will follow.
